This week we’ve had lots of fun learning about apples! We read many apple stories that were fiction and we compared those to a non-fiction Apple book by Gail Gibbons. We reviewed nouns: singular, plural and proper. We read about and sequenced the life cycle Terrible About Swallowing an Apple Seed? We celebrated Johnny Appleseed’s birthday by reading a biography about him and making applesauce with apples that possibly came from seeds he planted many years ago! The week ended with an amazing pep rally at the football field…see the attached photo!
