3. Blogs can be a useful way to share information and interact with students and parents via the comments section. 

4. They can be updated on a daily basis, weekly OR when new information is needed to be presented to the parents.

6. Multiple types of files can be added to the blog in a very easy manner.
Documents (.docx; .pdf), pictures, videos, YouTube videos (embedded) and links can all be added and access easily through the “Insert” tab.

Posts can be dated, created ahead of time to be “published” later and can be tagged for easy search index later.

9. Blogs can also be used by students
Blogs can also be used by students. Permissions can be amended so that they can share their blogs with each other.
They can be used to share information, collaborate with other students or have a space to write reflections on their learning.

10. Once the capability to create blogs within the ePortfolio is enabled, students will have the ability to demonstrate their learning in one more format. This will be part of their online digital record of their school years.
