What is a Sculpture? Sculpture is the art of forming representations by carving or modelling. Today sculpture includes any work in three-dimensions.

Reduction sculpture is where material (stone, wood, ice) is taken away in order to create the form.

Addition Sculpture (Modelling)
Addition sculpture is where material (clay, wax, cardboard, paper) is largely added on to create the form.

Best known for his monumental bronze sculptures which are located around the world as public works of art.
