1. Students will go beyond mere listening to the concept and taking notes and doing sketching of the examples of primary elements.
2. They are able to choose different primary elements that will be suitable for particular architectural spaces. They think deeply about the concept since they were familiarized in out-of-class and do higher order thinking of analyzing the architectural elements in all the buildings.
They get new concepts from both instructor and through peer discussion.
