2 Subjective A male patient(18 years old) administered in hospital unconsciously complains of Upper Respiratory tract infection And Fever associated with cough and chest pain With no history of chronic diseases

3 Objective Diagnoses Tests Rate Normal range Blood sugar 87 mg/dl
72 to 108 mg/dL Blood pressure Sys 100 mmHG – dias 55 mmHG 120/80-140/90 temperature 38 C 37 C Spo2 98% 94% to 99%

4 Assesment The patient said he visited medical asisstant to take some medicine for his respiratory infection and high fever and he was fainted there , then he woke up in hospital. According to the vital signs diagnosis , blood sugar rate and Po2 appeared normal except blood pressure which is below normal range ,and temperature above (37C ). Having severe URTI infection and high fever which is thought to be the main cause of losing consciousness

5 Planning Initial treatment Canulla 1000 cc N.S 1000 cc G.S
Paracetamol bottle Ceftriaxone vial 1x2 (100 conc) Flagyl bottle 1x3 Vancomycin vial 1x2

6 Later treatment: Amoxicillin vial 500mg 2x3 Azithromycin vial 500mg 1x1 Paracetamol bottle 1 gram 1x3 Metocloperamide amp 1x2 1000 cc N.s cc G.w Allermine amp 1x2 (IM)

7 Follow Up Upper Respiratory Infection Prevention
We live in a social world in which people come into close contact with others every day. Upper respiratory infection prevention includes: avoiding people who are ill; if you are ill, remain at home until you are no longer contagious; avoid touching your nose, eyes, and mouth with unwashed hands modify your lifestyle through smoking cessation and stress management, which may decrease your susceptibility to catching the common cold

8 Compliance of the patient is so important , finishing the coarse treatment to achieve maximum effect and prevent recurrence of the disease Research continues seeking vaccines and treatments that can lessen the symptoms of a cold and perhaps decrease the number of infections a person will get each year.

9 Drugs Antibiotic sensitivity Test must be Done Before administering
N.S , G.S to regulate Pressure Paracetamol for Pain Ceftriaxone , Flagyl , Vancomycin, Amoxicillin and other antibiotics : elimenate Gram +ve and –ve bacteria . Metocloperamide to prevent vomitting Allermine to reduce allergic symptoms and as antitussive
