Avoid the trap of the Laodiceans (Rev. 3:14-22)
Fasting help us avoid being trepid
Fasting helps refocus on God

Fasting & prayer is how we open the doors of our heart to Him
Fasting opens to us another realm (Jesus comes in).

Hunger and expectation creates room for the hand of God
God will not violate laws
We must strive to position ourselves to receive
We must place ourselves where God's strength can find us.
Fasting positions us to receive.
