Two Ways to Find Advisees
Easiest is Advisee Listing Advisee Listing lists advisees currently assigned to you

Student Information If the student is your advisee you will see this:
If the student is NOT your advisee you will see this: Not your advisee Contact the Registrar if your advisee is misassigned.

RACR – First Box “Major” may mean “Area.” A major or area must be declared by 45 credit hours; for a student with a major, a minor or second major must be declared by 60 credit hours.

RACR – University Studies
Note: IF your program has “Specifically Required University Studies” courses, these will be included in a box that follows your degree requirements. Make sure students choose University Studies courses that will fulfill these requirements.

Program-Specific Requirements
If your program has “Specially Required University Studies” courses or other special requirements like co-requisites, etc., you will find additional boxes on the RACR for these requirements.

A course will populate into the RACR in the first slot for which it is appropriate.
If a course MAY count in more than one place and needs to be adjusted, contact the RACR office: If a course needs to be moved to a different location on the RACR, contact the RACR office. Use this address to contact Ashley Rogers and Rhonda Timmons to request help with RACR.

Unrestricted Electives: Additional Hours Toward Degree
Look closely at courses in this box: Transfer credit that has not been evaluated as equivalent (often TRN 100 or TRN 300 courses) and other courses that may be eligible for substitution in University Studies, Area, Major, or Minor may be here – use Course Exception form (Registrar Forms) to move these courses. Forms also at

IF you see “AAPR” beside a requirement in Area, Major, or Minor:
“AAPR” means “Advisor Approved Electives”; the appropriate advisor (area, major, minor) must submit a Course Exception form listing the approved courses. (Any program with AAPRs MAY revise Bulletin copy to list pre-approved courses to replace AAPRs.) If your program lists AAPR AND courses, contact RACR Office to discuss.
