OVERVIEW Develop framework for incorporating research data metadata into CERIF to enable research organisations and researchers to more easily discover and utilise research datasets Develop subject specific demonstrator in the area of marine sciences

ACHIEVEMENTS Contributed to the extension of CERIF to support research data metadata (ongoing) Worked with systems providers (including Pure and ePrints) to ensure results are available to as wide a range of institutions as possible (on going)

ACHIEVEMENTS Extended IRIOS to support:-
Storage of metadata via manual entry or CERIF import Search metadata via ad-hoc queries or saved parameters Link metadata to related grants Export metadata to CERIF for use in CERIF-compliant systems
