Electrical workshop Imparts students a basic knowledge of electrical circuits, machines and power systems. . 2. Basic Electrical Engineering Lab Study and verification of basic Theorems and Implementation of basic electrical circuits power measurements

1. Electrical Measurements & Instrumentation Lab Calibration of various electrical measuring instruments Measurement of different physical parameters using transducers 3. Electrical Engineering Lab Students conduct various tests on different AC and DC machines and transformers to study the performance

1. Power electronics Lab To familiarize different power electronic devices and circuits 2. Advanced Electrical Engg. Lab Familiarisation of control system concepts using hardware and simulation experiments ,· experiments on microprocessors and microcontrollers and its interfacing and simulation study and analysis of power system circuits 3. Electrical Machines Lab A dedicated Machine lab for electrical engineering students where students will get an opportunity to conduct various tests on different ac machines and transformers to study the performance

Analog Electronics Lab Familiarization the various instruments used in electronics lab and conduct experiments on various analog electronic circuits and also introduction to electronic circuit simulation 5. Digital Electronics Lab Design and implementation of basic digital circuits Familiarisation of Hardware Description Language (VHDL) Introduction of 8085 microprocessor programming and interfacing

5. Technical Fest ZEUS ‘13 was conducted on 9th February 2013 in association with the Technical Fiesta Palmarius’13 which comprises technical talks, competitions, various technical events. Technical talks and workshops Talk on “Trends in Energy Conservation Techniques “ by Mr.K.Soman, General Secretary of Energy Conservation Society, described implementing various methods for conserving energy in a daily aspect on 9th February 2013 Talk on Energy auditing was conducted by Dr.Sasi K Kottayil, Professor and Vice Chairman in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, “Introduction to PSPICE” ,presentation on electrical CAD on 18th January 2013. 15 September 2018 Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering 10

External Student paper presentations Electrical Association A team of our students (2011 Admission) have taken part in the district level paper presentation conducted by KSEBEA on 23rd February 2013.
