Division of Marketing & Communication
The Division of Marketing & Communications provides the University community with a full range of services, including: Direction in following the University of Hartford's brand, including standards for logo & font usage Marketing strategy Planning, conceptualization, art direction & design of print and online ads/publications Copywriting for video, print, and online advertising & marketing materials Media buying for both traditional & online advertising campaigns Management of digital photography archive Electronic media leveraging The amount of time required to complete projects varies, depending on the extent of design needed, how many levels of approvals are needed & the method of printing. Please allow sufficient time to have your project conceptualized & designed to its creative potential. The Division of Marketing & Communication will compose a production schedule following its initial client meeting about a given project

Use Of University Name, Logos & Iconography
The use of the University of Hartford in the name of an organization does not indicate that the University is in favor of, or opposed to, a given philosophy, activity, or event sponsored by an organization. All student organizations must adopt names that either clearly identify them as student organizations, or append to the organization’s name a parenthetical statement indicating that the group is a student organization. When sponsoring any event any student organization is required to advertise their event as a student organization event & make sure the name of their group is prominent in all advertising. Advertising should also include that in no way are the views associated with this event represent the views of the University of Hartford For further information on the use of the University of Hartford's name & insignias & assistance with publicizing your event may be addressed to the Division of Marketing & Communication
