Forest Park It takes efforts for any visitor to get bored on a visit to Forest Park. Located west of St. Louis Cathedral, the huge park is home to a range of attractions such as the St. Louis Zoo and the St. Louis Art Museum. Students, interns or researchers on short-term or long-term corporate housing, the Science center located in the south-east corner of Forest Park an exciting and informative exploration of science and technology. One can have a fun-filled weekend by taking a romantic getaway in Forest Park rather than stay indoors in your extended stay apartment. The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis Whether you’re religious or not I highly recommend a visit to this Roman cathedral to follow the footsteps of history as you enjoy a scenic view of the architecture of the cathedral. The basement of the church has a museum solely dedicated to the mosaics in the church, installation of mosaics began in 1912 and it’s among one of the largest mosaic collection in the world. The cathedral is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and visitors who are not participating in the mass are always requested to visit after completion of the daily mass. On weekdays, guided tours are available between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and for tour reservations, one can contact the tour office number which is 314-373-8241. The Loop I remember a colleague of mine based in St. Louis recommending The Loop as a must-go and sure enough, I was exhilarated by the beauty, nightlife, magnificent art galleries, the Tivoli center, café culture, and the live music. As a visitor please don’t forget to take photos as you enjoy the contemporary vibe of this exquisite neighborhood. The above four destinations are among the top rated places to visit while in St. Louis on an extended stay, however, there are numerous attractions in this area that have not featured in this guide. Some of the hotspots include the Missouri Botanical garden, City Museum, Scott Joplin House, Campbell House Museum and the Laumeier Sculpture Park. First-time visitors should never worry about where to stay, St. Louis has an extensive list of companies offering great options of corporate housing for both long-term and short-term stays and the rates are competitive and affordable.
