Organic Farming With over 1 hectare of Land, we provide complete training from planting to final cutting. We have our own compost creation hub. All the processes are done manually using animals (bull) following generations old methods. Cross – Cultural Exchange
We provide cross cultural exchange experience to students and guests of varied nationalities by introducing them to Indian Culture and Tradition (Kumauni Culture). Also it is great learning for us as well and the guests also perform various acts of their culture as well. Best time to Visit – Anytime of the Year. Environment Conservation and Protection
Kanda is and extremely Bio-Diverse area with huge forest covers hence providing opportunity for students to learn about various activities on environment conservation and protection through various traditional methods and also introduce the villagers modern technology to reduce the carbon footprint. Ecology and Bird Watching
Kanda is one of the favorite spots for Birding with over 150 spices of Birds. Over the years we have hosted many Birders. Also being ecologically diverse this area is home to various flora and fauna. Locally known pine tree (Cheeda) have lungs cleansing properties hence a perfect spots for people with breathing problems. Rural Construction and Carpentry
We introduces our guests to traditional constructions and carpentry methods , from stone brick construction to local wood cutting methods. As a part of our build the village campaign aligned with Swach Bharat Mission (Govt. of India) we construct various building and houses. So far we have build 8 toilets and 5 houses for poor locals Best time to visit – Anytime of the year, visitors can also bring projects. Education and enhancement in Local Schools
We have a collaboration with a local private school where are volunteers teach various subjects of their choice. We started these campaign to provide confidence to poor village children to think globally which otherwise would be limited to the village area. Cattle Farming Currently we own 5 cows and 5 sheeps and we are very proud to say that our founder JeevanLal Verma has over 20 years of experience and is winner of National Gopal Ratna, awarded for developing Indigenous breed of Cow. Everything in the village is done manually by traditional practices as cow is a holy animal hence treated with utmost respect in our culture. Best Time to Visit – Anytime of the year.

Village Walks We take our visitors around the village for walks giving them a better understanding of Rural Economy and culture. We introduce them to various villagers and help them understand their mindset in our Village Walks. Best time to Visit – Anytime of the year Visitors being introduced to villagers. Short Treks We organize multiple treks into the forest and farms around the village. This gives our visitors exposure to wildlife and also introduce them to various indigenous species found in the area. These treks are mainly focused on widening the knowledge base of the visitors. Environmental Film Shoot
This is a fairly new area introduced to us by visitors and now have been adopted by us we provide stay and location assistance to environmentalist and media personnel for photography and Movie production. Best Time to Visit – Anytime of the year A team from USA for a documentary shoot.

Rural Agriculture We introduce visitors to rural agriculture methods employing wooden Hull and Bull. Here traditional irrigation systems are employed and farming practices of crop harvesting are employed. Farmers also engage with visitors to learn about modern technologies to enhance their skill sets. Tea Plantation Visit We take our visitors to tea gardens for better understanding of tea plantation and cultivation. We occasionally plant tea and coffee seeds and provide the visitor all the information the regarding their cultivation Best Time to Visit – Anytime of the year. Yoga and Meditation friendly spots
Kanda has scenic beauty with panoramic view of the grass covered hills, thus a there are a number of Yoga and meditation spots in and around Kanda to fill you with peace and serendipity. This helps you to take complete advantage of Indian culture of Yoga and spiritual meditation. Best time to Visit- All year. We can arrange for a yoga instructor depending on availability.
