3 Explanations of terms (examples will vary):
Presentism—judging the past by today’s standards Revisionist history—revising the accepted way of looking at a specific event or time period in history Social history “from the bottom up”—the history of everyday life for regular people who have traditionally been left out of the larger historical story Hindsight is 20/20—it is easy to judge the past because we have so much more knowledge of outcomes (try not to do it, or at least keep this concept in mind) Primary sources—produced by people who were there

4 One more term for you to know:
HUMAN AGENCY—the capacity to shape your own destiny through your own actions
