Student Handbook All students are responsible for the information that is in the handbook and will be held accountable for their choices Expectations are there to help students succeed and be safe!

Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, and drug free! Locks on all lockers! Using appropriate entrances! Staying on campus for lunch! We have an updated surveillance system.

Daily Schedule: The warning bell rings at 8:00am. First hour begins at 8:05. The day ends at 3:25pm. Please remember…. After 8:05, students may only enter in through the front doors or the buzzer system near the library.

Scheduling: 8th graders will be receiving their Course Handbooks and a registration sheet on December 12th and 13th from their MS Counselor The parent signed registration sheet is due on December 21st to their MS Counselor. On January 8th and 9th, students will be finalizing their choices meeting with the MS and HS Counselors

Graduation Requirements:
English 4 credits - English I, English II, American Lit, Writing Course, 1 Elective credit Social Studies 3 credits – Modern US History, World History or AP World History, 1 Elective credit Math 3 credits Science 3 credits – Life Science (Biology), Physical Science choice (Physical Science or Chemistry), Elective Physical Ed 1.5 credits Health - ½ credit ( 9th or 10th grade) Electives 9 credits Total 24 credits

Required Classes for Freshmen:
English I – 1 credit (2 semesters) Modern US History – 1 credit (2 semesters) Math – 1 credit (2 semesters) -Algebra 1A, Algebra, or Geometry (depends on 8th grade course and recommendation) Biology – 1 credit (2 semesters) Most 9th graders also take the following: PE – ½ credit (1 semester.. PE 9 or Lifetime Fitness) Health – ½ credit (1 semester)
