The PlayStation 4 is a home video game console from Sony Computer Entertainment. Announced as the successor to the PlayStation 3 during a press conference on February 20, 2013, it was launched on November 15, 2013 in North America, and November 29, 2013 in Europe and Australia.
The PS4 comes with features such as remote play, PlayStation app, play while you download content, personalized content.

In 1988, Sony entered in to an agreement with Nintendo to develop a CD-ROM attachment. Due to many contractual and licensing problems, the disc was never released. Instead, a modified version was introduced by Sony in 1991, in a system called the PlayStation. Launched in Japan in December 1994, and in the United States and Europe in September 1995, the PlayStation quickly became the most popular system available.
