Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation: Bev Eckert
Started with private donation and continues with State government support Staff and Navigators on staff to assist people dealing with Prostate cancer Focus on the State Cancer Plan Posters developed and partnerships to raise awareness Hint on importance of smaller easy to use materials

Prostate Cancer Association of New Mexico: Jan Marfyak
Founded in 1997 Employ staff member, an Administrative Assistant to help Board Members and others Raise $40-$50 K per year and have nest egg of $180,000 Have advertised with Public Broadcasting, PBS Newsletters developed Raise awareness at Health Fairs Telephone number with call-forwarding to people with experience with the disease and various treatment options

California Prostate Cancer Coalition, Merel Nissenberg
Founded in 1997, covers a large state Northern and Southern CA Support Group Leader training sessions conducted, some screening events sponsored too Advocated for the Prostate cancer IMPACT program run by UCLA Actively involved with the State Plan, CDOC Recently completed a new brochure which displays “A Proud Participant in the National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalition” on cover Does Newsletter with focus on CA

South Carolina Upstate Prostate Cancer Alliance: Johnny Payne
Started in 2000, Prostate cancer workgroup He is also involved with Us TOO support group and their activities Many community partnerships Been doing screenings for 10 plus years, is seeing less turn out Focuses on State Cancer Plan Just completed a poster sharing highlights from their survey and article which was published
