This is an accelerated bridge construction with majority of members being precast. Be sure to have enough lead time for fabrication/testing/shipping/Installation.
Precast deck panel / precast bent cap /precast end panel / precast wing wall / steel diaphragms are all used on this bridge. Precast deck panels also need to be
prestressed and are specified in Sec
Also, UHPC (ultra-high performance concrete) and steel diaphragms are used on this project.
Contractor is not familiar with accelerated construction and extra requirements on UHPC. Please pay special attention to the testing requirements on UHPC and plant
Proper deck super elevation will be achieved by adjusting deck panel leveling devices and ground-off of panel top surface.
