Building on the success of the industrial grade Proto Micrometer Click type torque wrenches, Proto is launching two new Micrometer Interchangeable Head Torque Wrench Assemblies.
We have re-engineered our 2 most popular sizes to receive the 125+ interchangeable attachments.
JH5-6006C: 3/8” Drive, ft-lbs.
JH7-6014C: 1/2” Drive, ft-lbs.
Meets or exceeds ASME B107.14M specification

3. Electronic Interchangeable Head Torque Wrench Assemblies
General Features and Benefits:
Industrial Grade Proto Micrometer Torque wrench
Over 125 attachments interface with the 2 different sizes of the Interchangeable Head receiver for access to hard to reach, restricted areas.
Each size (H4, H5 and H7) corresponds to a specific torque range that can be applied to the fastener.
Each attachment has a recommended maximum torque value hard marked on it to avoid over-torquing of fasteners.
Easy to understand part numbering system:
H4 Torque Wrenches match with H4 attachments (electronic only)
H5 Torque Wrenches match with H5 attachments
H7 Torque Wrenches match with H7 attachments

5. Electronic Interchangeable Head Torque Wrenches
General Features and Benefits:
Torque wrench head rotates to allow for easy viewing of LCD display.
Easy to read LCD Display with large digits.
3-way Red/Green/Yellow lights.
Yellow light appears at the low end of the zone.
Green light appears and buzzer sounds when the target is reached.
Red light appears with intermittent buzzer when it is over torqued.
An audible buzzer helps identify when desired torque target zones are approaching and met.
Target torque zone is adjustable from 1% to 10% of targeted torque value.

Accuracy of +/- 2% of indicated value in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions
Broad accuracy range extends from 10% of Full Scale to 100% of Full Scale to help reduce the number of torque wrenches required.
Ninety-nine "on-board" memory storage locations help improve efficiency when taking multiple torque readings.
Three units of measure are available (Ft-lb, In-lb, and Nm).
Three operating modes: Track Mode, Peak Hold and Auto Clear.
Fast sampling rate helps maintain high accuracy during torque applications.

Proto Software allows for full two-way communication between the torque wrench and a laptop or desktop computer.
Add-on the software and plug in the cable for full computer interface
Download multiple torque readings directly into an excel spreadsheet (units, value and time stamp) to help improve efficiency.
Control all settings on the torque wrench from the wrench or computer
Software includes CD and connection cable which interfaces with computer's RS-232 connection.

Proto Interchangeable Head attachments have been specifically engineered to interface with the Proto Electronic, Micrometer and Pre-Set Interchangeable Head Torque Wrenches.
Three Attachment designs are available:
Box End
Open End
Ratcheting Head
Both metric and inch sizes available.
An easy to understand part numbering system matches the correct torque wrench to the attachment.

Box End designed Interchangeable Head Attachments feature:
The patented Proto TorquePlus™ Design, a high performance drive configuration which allows for quick and easy wrench engagement with the fastener flats, not the corners.
12 point box end allows for fine indexing, helping to improve speed and access.
Fits 4, 6 and 12 point fasteners.
Box end openings are indexed
to 7.5º to help keep shank clear
of obstructions by allowing the
user to flip the wrench over to
continue turning the fastener.
Box ends are countersunk on both sides to allow for easier application to the fastener.
