7 Main ventilation control panel Pt8
It is a bit complex It would merit a dedicated presentation …it is out of the scope of this workshop.

8 Differential pressure measurements in 2010

9 Compressed air Total flow rate: 870 m3/h Dew point: -40°C
Service pressure: 7±1 bar Maximum allowable pressure: 16 bar

10 Evacuation of clean and waste water
Clean water (infiltration) 1 sump + 3 pumps -> to the “Nant Gobé” Waste water (industrial) 1 sump + 1 pump -> to waste circuit Flow-rate: About 70 m3/h from the lowers point of LHC 180 m3/h in total from point 8.

11 Upgrade requirements? Which kind of information CV will need to start working on the new requirements of LHCb Experiments for the upgrade?

12 Upgrade requirements? Water Cooling
Cooling power required or water flow-rate (minimum, maximum) Cooling inlet temperature at the client and acceptable DT Maximum allowable pressure of the client circuit Pressure drop DP on the client circuit Water quality for demi water (μS/cm) + circuit material (Al – Cu) Connection information Redundancy Power supply (standard, diesel, UPS) Location…

13 Upgrade requirements? Compressed air
Number and position of the equipment to be supplied Brief description of the equipment (and datasheet if possible) Nominal diameter of the connection Requested flow-rate Maximum allowable pressure Minimum requested pressure Air quality in relation to ISO-8573 Simultaneity coefficient of all users Location…

14 Upgrade requirements? Detector Cooling
The EN/CV/DC section is available to design, build, install, test, commissioning and operate new Detector dedicated cooling units according to resources that could be allocated to cope with the detectors upgrade phase; Cooling power, fluid, temperature range, temperature stability, maximum allowable pressure, DP, DT, number of distribution lines, etc.; A very close collaboration for the design of the on-detector and off- detector cooling system is recommended.
