• Be proactive in learning about the Women’s Council Tools that were developed to support you. • If you have a need, there’s probably a Tool available to help. • Don’t reinvent the wheel if you don’t have to. • Utilize the experiences of others within and outside of your Network. • Don’t make your job harder than it needs to be. • Ask for support in utilizing the Tools as needed. Sample Network Goals • Increase membership by 10% with 100% retention
• Increase reserves by 5% • Set a net profit goal for a program/event • Learn and utilize Roberts Rules of Order to streamline Network governance • Identify and personally approach potential leadership candidates for 2018 using Task is to Ask toolkit • Conduct at least quarterly new member orientations • Develop a marketing plan and budget for each event with 90 day lead time • Make a plan on developing stronger relationship with Associations and other real estate related community organizations • Create a means to share information from State and National meetings with members, either with a newsletter or other means [Personal remarks and acknowledgements.]

Setting Goals with the Business Plan
THE KEY: Be SMART when Setting Goals to accomplish Mission, Vision and Values Specific – What do we want to accomplish? Measureable – How will we know when we achieve the goal? Attainable – Can we figure out ways to make the goal come true? Realistic – Is this something the Network is willing and able to work on?
