summarized the TS-0013 specification that defines the procedure for interoperability testing and reported the previous test events

explained the ongoing discussion on mechanism, organization and issues to implement certification program and the activity in other countries

10. Release 3 Direction and Q&A
For concluding the whole session,
Mr. Nick Yamasaki (KDDI)
presented expected direction towards Release 3 and moderated the Q&A session for entire workshop.
Q&A Session
Enthusiastic and extensive Q&A session was conducted.
Variety of questions indicated wide areas of the audience’s interest.
For easier implementation of CSE in Device, SDK (Software Development Kit) was requested due to less sufficiency of developers guide only. In response, 3 OSS projects (OM2M, OCEAN, IoT DM) were introduced.
Interest in Semantics Interoperability and Ontology Mapping was shown.
Interworking with external organization (AllSeen, OCF, IIC) and Co-existence with Apple and Google is one of Interested topics.
Other questions were regarding Certification Scheme, Discovery CSF, withdrawal of Continua, etc.
