7    Speakers (2) Mr. Toru Yamada (NEC)  depicted the mechanism of interworking with OMA Lightweight M2M and coordination with 3GPP based on Release 13; also, introduced the semantics functionality that enables linkage between oneM2M platform and other platform utilizing existing examples Mr. Shingo Fujimoto (Fujitsu)  oneM2M Protocol WG Vice Chair highlighted the essence of Release 2 revisions for communication protocols and how the security aspects are strengthened Mr. Nobuhiro Okui (KDDI)  introduced privacy protection architecture deploying Privacy Policy Manager(PPM) newly defined in Release2

8    Speakers (3) Mr. Yoshihisa Ito (NTT)  introduced the application for home domain such as smart home or HEMS, also the activity to specify the information model in collaboration with HGI Mr. Taizo Kinoshita (Hitachi)  described the enablement for industry domain settled the discussion in Release2 Mr. Hiroyuki Kubo (Hitachi)  explained the direction of application of ongoing work of vehicular domain enablement

ARIB oneM2M WG Chair  provided overview of mapping of applications to oneM2M functional architecture and the implementation procedure using simple use cases targeting application developers Mr. Hiroyuki Maeomichi (NTT)  summarized the TS-0013 specification that defines the procedure for interoperability testing and reported the previous test events Mr. Osamu Yamashita (Anritsu)  explained the ongoing discussion on mechanism, organization and issues to implement certification program and the activity in other countries

10 Release 3 Direction and Q&A
For concluding the whole session, Mr. Nick Yamasaki (KDDI) presented expected direction towards Release 3 and moderated the Q&A session for entire workshop. Q&A Session Enthusiastic and extensive Q&A session was conducted. Variety of questions indicated wide areas of the audience’s interest. For easier implementation of CSE in Device, SDK (Software Development Kit) was requested due to less sufficiency of developers guide only. In response, 3 OSS projects (OM2M, OCEAN, IoT DM) were introduced. Interest in Semantics Interoperability and Ontology Mapping was shown. Interworking with external organization (AllSeen, OCF, IIC) and Co-existence with Apple and Google is one of Interested topics. Other questions were regarding Certification Scheme, Discovery CSF, withdrawal of Continua, etc.
