2 My Planet - Earth About Earth Earth is the third planet from the Sun.
There are many different layers that earth is divided into. The earth is the densest body in the solar system. It is the fifth-largest planet in the solar system. 71% of earth is covered by water. The atmosphere is made up of 77% nitrogen and 21% oxygen with other traces of argon, carbon dioxide and water. The Earth is the only inner planet (Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars) to have one large satellite, the Moon. It was formed approximately 4.54 billion years ago and is the only known planet to support life. Earth looks like a blue marble with white swirls. Some parts are brown, yellow, green and white. Earth revolves around the Sun in days, a period known as an Earth year. During this time, Earth rotates about its axis about times.

3 Facts about Earth (Outer & Inner)
Earth revolves around the Sun in days, a period known as an Earth year. During this time, Earth rotates about its axis about times. The center of the Earth is made up of two layers, the outer core and the inner core. The outer core of the Earth is a liquid layer about 2,260 kilometers thick. It is made of iron and nickel. Its outer boundary is 2,890 km (1,800 mi) beneath the Earth's surface. The outer core is the third layer of the Earth. It is the only liquid layer, and is mainly made up of the metals iron and nickel, as well as small amounts of other substances. The outer core is responsible for Earth's magnetic field. The Earth's inner core is the Earth's innermost part. It is primarily a solid ball with a radius of about 1,220 kilometers (760 miles), which is about 70% of the Moon's radius. It is composed of an iron–nickel alloy and some light elements. The churning metal of the outer core creates and sustains Earth's magnetic field. The hottest part of the core is actually the Bullen discontinuity, where temperatures reach 6,000° Celsius (10,800° Fahrenheit)—as hot as the surface of the sun. The inner core is a hot, dense ball of (mostly) iron The internal structure of Earth

4 Unique Features of Earth
Earth is not a perfect sphere. As Earth spins, gravity points toward the center of our planet (assuming for explanation's sake that Earth is a perfect sphere), and a centrifugal force pushes outward. But since this gravity- opposing force acts perpendicular to the axis of Earth, and Earth's axis is tilted, centrifugal force at the equator is not exactly opposed to gravity. The Earth is larger than Mercury, Venus and Mars, the planets closest to it. On astronomy maps it often looks smaller than Venus because Venus is shown with a thick layer of sulphuric acid. To enable life, this most special of attributes, planet Earth has a number of ideal features. It is unique among planets in our solar system for having water in its liquid form at the surface, in an amount conducive to life evolving. Earth hosts not just life, but intelligent life, makes it doubly unique. And the planet's intelligent life (humanity) has even developed rockets that enable travel beyond the planet, said Gregory Laughlin, astrophysicist and planet hunter at the University of California, Santa Cruz. It is just the right distance away from our Sun to allow just the right amount of air, water and heat to support life.  No other planet has temperatures like Earth that are not too hot and not too cold. Also, no other planet has water like Earth has. Scientists have found that other planets have ice but no liquid water. Finally, Earth has the right mix of chemicals that are required for life.

5 Planet Profile - Earth

6 I Love my planet - Earth I love and like my planet Earth where we all live. I love our earth because it embraces the quality of nature , even after the damage we continue to cause - it remains forgiving, it has given me my family - the people I love most. I would like to visit the below classic seven wonders in my planet Earth.
