GP Contract & PPGs Patient Participation ES (optional) ended 31/3/15 Associated funding reinvested in Global Sum From 1/4/15, all practices (not optional) to establish & maintain PPG Must engage with PPG throughout frequency, manner agreed with PPG Practices must make reasonable efforts during each year for PPGs to be representative of practice population Practices with PRG/PPGs already set up do not need to create a new PPG, just review whether it remains representative of the practice population The practice should develop its PPG in the most appropriate way – this may be virtual, face to face, or a combination of the two
