Healthy Eating Kebabs These fruit kebabs are a wonderful, healthy snack which the whole class will love and they’re really quick to make. You will need: Cookie cutters Sharp knife Fruit e.g. melon, pineapple, blueberries, raspberries, grapes etc. Cheese e.g. mild cheddar Wooden kebab sticks 1. Make sure all of your fruits are washed before you use it to make fruit kebabs. If using large fruits like melon or pineapple, ask an adult to cut slices of these for you using a sharp knife. Using your cookie cutters, cut out shapes from these slices. Ask an adult to cut the cheese into small cubes. 2. Take a wooden kebab stick and carefully push your fruit and blocks of cheese onto it to form a fruit kebab. You might want to create a rainbow of colours or use colours and shapes to make your kebabs as attractive as possible. These healthy eating kebabs are sure to be a hit with everyone and could be a big seller at the You Grow-They Grow plant sale at your school. A strategic health initiative from Project HOPE UK
