The library can have a major role in supporting Common Core throughout the school. Increased role in curriculum support for classroom teachers. Create a dedicated Common Core section in library collection. Opportunities for collaboration. Professional development Become expert in Common Core standards, New York State Standards, and AASL Standards. Bring information literacy standards into library curriculum.
