2 Computational creativity
One of the most common definitions of computational creativity (CC) is “building software that exhibits behavior that would be deemed creative in humans” (Colton and others 2009). Basically, CC refers to behavior that would be regarded as creative if performed by humans. This raises some question: Which humans, as there are many different styles of human creative behavior. Which activity, as there are many areas for which software could be developed that could be perceived as “creative” Resources:

As a field of research, CC is thriving, with progress in formalizing what it means for software to be creative, along with many exciting and valuable applications of creative software in the sciences, the arts, literature, gaming and elsewhere. Naturally a very emotive topic Cross-disciplinary: Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy, Psychology, Linguistics, … Application domains: Music, visual arts, bioinformatics, mathematics, figurative language, design, games, humor, …
