Dining room etiquette and table manners are expected. Eating and preparing food is part of the learning experience. Socialising at meal times is an essential skill to develop.

£150 if entitled to remission. Coach fee heavily subsidised by school. £20 deposit paid by Monday 4th December Balance payable by 26th February 2018. Instalments on a weekly or monthly basis are fine.(£180÷12weeks=£15 p.w or £150÷12weeks=£12.50p.w)

All food provided from lunch on Monday 5th to Lunch on Wednesday 7th. Accommodation (including bedding) Fully qualified, expert instructors. All essential outdoor equipment hire. Life-long memories and potentially life-changing experiences.

15 FAQ’s ~ Parent/Carers Will my child be safe doing activities?
How safe and secure is the centre? What if I can’t pay in time? What if my child needs medication? Is my child insured? What if there is an emergency? My child is scared about going….. Is that still OK? What clothing and equipment will I need to buy? Which school staff are going? How do I contact Nant BH? I want my child to go…. But they are unsure. Who can help?

16 FAQs’ ~ Children Can I bring sweets? Yes. In moderation!
Is there a shop? Yes. A small gift and tuck shop – if you are good! How much money can I bring to spend? £10 max- in change if possible What activities do we do? Gorge walk, canoes, climbing, orienteering, problem solving, camp fire, forest craft, high ropes, zip wire. Do I have to wear school uniform? No. Own clothes from start to finish. What equipment do I need to bring? Kit list will be provided. Nant BH have all outdoor clothing and equipment available. Can I bring my mobile or iPad? No. Will I be able to phone home? No. Staff will call home if/when needed My mum is scared about me going….. Is that still OK? Yes, mum’ll be fine and so will you! Who will I share a dormitory with? Staff will decide What time do we have to go to bed? Depends on behaviour. Late as possible. What is the food like? Great, cooked on site. All allergies catered for. Will I have to come to school on Thursday 8th? Yes. Absolutely! I want my parents to let me go… but they are unsure. Who can help? Mr Nicholson.
