Good afternoon, My name is Leon Paull, I am the Business Development Director at OrCam Technologies.
I would like to thank you all for the opportunity to join you here at Techshare Pro and happy to present you, with me colleagues the OrCam story and the MyEye technology.

2. Professor Amnon Shashua and CEO Ziv Aviram - Founders OrCam.
Who are we? OrCam is a leader in using artificial intelligence and computerized vision for groundbreaking assistive technology for the blind and visually impaired. A few words on how we got here:
In 1999, 2 Israeli innovators, Prof. Amnon Shashua and Ziv Aviram founded Mobileye with the idea to develop a technology based on artificial intelligence and image processing to prevent vehicle collisions and the tragic deaths and injuries associated with them.
Today Mobileye is a global leader in anti-collision technology with most car manufacturers using its technology.
Mobileye has also evolved into a leader in Autonomous Vehicle technology that brought it to its recent acquisition by Intel for more than 15 Billion dollars. In its partnership with Intel and BMW, Mobileye plans to have an autonomous vehicle commercially available by 2021.
But the Mobileye’s co-founders didn’t stop there. They wanted to find additional ways to address societal challenges through innovation and Artificial Intelligence. They realized that Artificial Intelligence technology could help individuals who are blind and in 2010 started a separate company - OrCam. Our founders idea was that if we can make cars drive by themselves, we can definitely use the technology to help the people who need it the most. Since 2010, the company has launched its MyEye and MyReader product lines in more than 22 countries globally, constantly improving the technology, adding new languages and new features.

So what is OrCam MyEye exactly?
A smart camera that can be mounted to any pair of glasses which is connected to a base unit that encompass the processing system and a battery
The device is wearable, discreet and mobile allowing the user to carry it everywhere whether at home or at work or even in the class room
The device is very simple to use and is operated with simple hand gestures

OrCam MyEye reads any printed or digital text from any surface anywhere and without the need of internet connection. This in turn result in real time and accurate response rather than being processed online on a cloud.
OrCam MyEye Identifies faces, products, money notes, street signs and can tell you the time and date and you don’t have to wear your watch for it.
In short, OrCam improved our users independence, and this is really what its all about.

But this is not everything OrCam MyEye does. Recently we have released a new software update that includes new features: Multiple languages reading capabilities , color recognition and barcode recognition.

6. Usability – simply point
OrCam MyEye gives any person access to AI technology simply by using natural human gestures – pointing.
All you have to do is point.

7. So, a few words about the future:
2018 is expected to be another exciting year.
And our future this year fits into the size of a lipstick.
Our new MyEye2 to be launched soon will have all of what the MyEye has to offer and more, in a much smaller size.

8. OrCam MyEye 2 – smartphone connection
With MyEye 2 you will be able to control the settings from your smartphone. However the operation of MyEye2 will not require a smartphone nor an internet connection.
