2. Winter lights festival is one of the most luminous and fascinating shows of the world. The festival takes place in Kuwana (Japan) and it begins when the winter arrives. The festival lasts five months, from November to March.

3. Around 7 Millions of LED lights occupy the surface of approximately eight thousand square meters that include the gardens, a chapel and the famous lake of Kuwana. The lights don't cause any damage to the garden. The greater part of the energy is used by loaded batteries with solar panels during the day.

4. In the botanical garden, the people can see the tunnels of lights, the garden illuminated, the chapel and the lake. Also, there are some restaurants and they can buy souvenirs in shops.

5. The festival was created in 2007, it is celebrated every year and it attracts millions of visitors from all the world. Every year the theme of the festival changes, for example, the theme of the last year was “the nature “.

6. There are a lot of tunnels of lights in the festival and the garden has more of different species of flowers, coming from all the world.
