Introductions Sizzle reels:
3- to 5-minute videos that combine visuals, audio and messaging to create a fast-paced, overview of a product, service, initiative or brand. (also called demo reels, show reels, media highlight reels, public relations videos, video pitches, electronic press kit videos, promo videos, or teasers)

Introductions Group presentation or pitch: This should describe: your design, the justification for it how it would be implemented within the community (For 15% Launch, DP 264)

Give evidence to demonstrate its usefulness and how it will be implemented in the community, how costs will be overcome

What to think about..

Introductions Audience: Who is it for?
For NGO’s or charities, funders or advertising executives the sizzle will look, feel and sound a lot different. Would they prefer heart rending images, statistics or fast-paced advertising snippets? The worst thing you can do is make a sizzle reel for yourself.

Set the scene, striking situation, controversial question, dramatic entry, poignant plea ? What are the problems? What is your design that will solve this problem? Why was it created? Show how it works, Who are you, what are your credentials?

CAD animations, real time video, still images with music or voice over. Easy packages like WIDEO or more professional ones.. Adobe Animate (animations and images) or Adobe Premiere (video)

Spend time planning your media and storyline Start with the highest-quality video, audio and images Use images with impact Minimize your text usage.

Sizzle reels: Soundtrack?
Introductions Sizzle reels: Soundtrack? Voiceover? Music? Selecting the right music will keep viewers engaged, while the wrong one might turn them off Will your audience respond more to pulsing, fast-paced music beats, or slow and elegant orchestrations?

FreeSound.org free database of royalty-free music and sound effects. Flickr Creative Commons royalty-free, user-generated photos. iStockphoto reasonably priced stock photos, illustrations, audio clips and videos. KeepVid enables you to download streaming videos from the web and convert them into editable media files. Jing is a video screen capture software for Mac and PC.
