8. Nervous Tissue
While muscle tissue moves the body, nervous tissue directs and controls this process
Nervous tissue carries electrical messages back and forth from the brain to other parts of the body

Connective tissue provides support for your body and connects all of its parts
Bone tissue and fat tissue are examples of connective tissue

Epithelial tissue covers the surface of your body inside and out

An organ is a structure that is made up of different kinds of tissues
The job of an organ is usually more complex than that of a tissue

An organ system is a group of organs that work together carrying out major functions
