Habitats of the world- Scientists divided the Earth into regions. The factors that determine a biome are latitude, altitude, soil, temperatures, precipitation, sunlight, plants and animals. There are 7 major biomes.

Land saturated by water all year
Grasses, trees, cattails

10. 7. Oceans Vast body of salt water, covers ¾ of Earth
Atlantic, Pacific, Southern, Arctic, Indian
