4 Included in the cost of the trip:-
Travel via EUROTUNNEL Accommodation – bed and continental breakfast in The Cheyenne Hotel Tickets to the Disney parks 2 Seminars and a Workshop Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show - meal included Meal at King Ludwig’s Group Hoodie

5 Clothing Dress for warmth layers thick, waterproof coat waterproof footwear hat, gloves, scarf, thick socks, Suitcase – not too large Meals - Tuesday at Buffalo Bill’s Wednesday at King Ludwig’s Dinner on Thursday night and lunches will need to be purchased Bring lunch and snacks for the journey and remember you will need supplies for the return journey, too!

7 PUPILS’ RESPONSIBILITIES
a high standard of behaviour is expected throughout the visit make the visit enjoyable for everyone by following all instructions given by the staff be on time to all meeting points – in the Village as well as in the parks remain in groups of at least 4 at all times collect a park guide on entry and to ensure knowledge of where and when to meet the group – keep school mobile number at hand avoid noise after the lights out curfew and never go into other pupils’ rooms keep rooms neat and tidy throughout stay there will be inspections! NO PUPIL WILL SMOKE OR DRINK ALCOHOL ON THIS VISIT This is forbidden by Disney and could lead to expulsion from the park, village and hotel.

8 PUPILS’ RESPONSIBILITIES
During the Study Experience seminars, at the Gaumont Cinema in the Village:- Arrive on time – 10 mins before start time Turn off mobile phones Go to the loo before entering the cinema Do not use laser pens or flash photography during the sessions – avoid interruptions Bring your note books and pens in order to take notes for use in your work sessions

9 PUPILS’ RESPONSIBILITIES
TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!! (obviously!) To complete the booklet supplied to enhance media understanding Be prepared to be tired – out all day from breakfast until late. Very little time spent in the hotel. Keep room tidy – spot checks by us as well as Disney staff You will not leave your room without permission and not at all after lights out Disney security patrol the school areas and have the authority to eject rule breakers from the site – they are sticklers for rules!!

10 Money and food Allow for Euros per meal – expensive and range is limited – bring as many snacks from home as possible. Allow for snacks on the journey – we will stop at services as the driver requires breaks. Save money for the journey home – this means for food. We will have breakfast at the hotel but are leaving before lunchtime, so need to prepare for a snack while travelling. Souvenirs – plenty of opportunities for shopping!!!! It is not cheap (a lot of the items you can get in Disney store in Lakesiders!!)

11 MEDICATION AND HEALTH over the counter medication safe to carry but please bring a letter and the information from inside the packaging to confirm what the medication is and what it is for Last minute illness – contact me at the school until 17:00 pm Mon 29th Jan. If ill the night before we travel use the emergency number to inform me of situation.

12 INSURANCE The trip is covered by the school’s insurance and basic medical is covered by the EHIC If pupils bring valuable items such as ipads it is their responsibility to look after them – the school does not take responsibility There is a safe in the room to lock valuables away – don’t forget the combination though!

08.30 am Depart from school bus bay. Travel to Folkestone and then to Calais. The crossing will be at 11:20 am. Continue on to Disneyland Paris and the CHEYENNE HOTEL Disneyland Paris P O BOX 105 Marne La Vallée France REMEMBER TO BRING A PACKED LUNCH AND SNACKS FOR THE JOURNEY 18:00 Approximate time of arrival at the hotel – unpack and orientation 19:00 Workbook session 21:00 Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show (meal incl) 00:00 Pupils to be in their rooms, doors locked and red light on! Wednesday 11th January 2018 07:30 Breakfast at the hotel (timing is approx) 09:30 Walk to Magic Kingdom 10: :30 Magic Kingdom – complete photography tasks 18:00 Seminar 1 at the Gaumont Cinema in Disney Village 19:00 Evening meal at King Ludwig’s in Disney Village 21:30 Workbook session at hotel 23:00 Pupils in their rooms - doors locked and red light on!

14 ITINERARY Thursday 1st February 2018 Friday 2nd February 2018
07:30 Breakfast at the hotel – time tbc 09:30 Leave hotel to walk to Disney Studios 10: :45 Disney Studios 11:00 Workshop at the Gaumont Cinema - Village 12:00 – Disney Studios 18:00 Seminar 2 – Gaumont Cinema – Village 18: Magic Kingdom for the lights and firework d display from 19:00 20: Time in the Village – shopping and dinner 22: Return to hotel for a study session. Packing and a room inspection 23:00 Pupils in rooms – doors locked and red light on! Friday 2nd February 2018 07:00 Breakfast 08:00 Clean rooms and pack luggage 09:00 DEPART Disneyland Paris! 14:50 Depart Calais on EUROTUNNEL 17:00 Approximate arrival time back in Rayleigh at the school bus bay. Obviously travel times are at the mercy of the traffic on the day and pupils will be able to telephone parents/guardians with more detailed arrival times as we travel. PUPILS WILL PHONE HOME ONCE WE ARRIVE IN ENGLAND WITH APPROXIMATE TIMINGS.

15 FINAL BITS AND PIECES Final details and further reminders to be sent home if anything changes Regular checks with County, and Foreign Office are ongoing, regarding advice for travelling abroad and any other recommendations they may have for us.

16 PAPERWORK Any questions? Passports and medical cards Medication
all need to be in as soon as possible passport numbers needed for final paperwork. these will then be kept in the school safe. Medication Pupils must carry this themselves with a note explaining what it is and what it is to be used for. Medical/Consent form - vegetarians/vegans Any questions?
