International Business is an interdisciplinary major focusing on the convergence of peoples, cultures, and markets in what is now the a global world.

3 Why Study International Business?
It’s a global business environment. International business majors learn how to think globally about the business world. You also learn how to manage multinational businesses and turn local and national companies into international success stories.

4 What Can I do with an IB Major?
You may… Manage imports and exports in multinational corporations Translate for business Travel abroad to facilitate business deals Prepare employees for foreign travel and business dealings Study and implement ethical behavior and standards Practice cultural sensitivity in business Represent your company internationally as a sales representative or consultant

5 What Can I do with an IB Major?
IB majors can get entry level positions in public, private or non-profit sectors, for example in business, government or international agencies. Typical employers include banks, import/export corporations multinational manufacturers consulting firms international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) electronics and technology companies, and transportation industries like shipping and airlines.
