End of the Year Kindergarten Reading Goal
Level C based off of Fountas and Pinnell Children entering Kindergarten will be assessed twice a year to meet the end of the year reading goal Test dates are in Winter and Spring

Kindergarten Reading Assessment Dates
PALS - Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening Fall Dates: October 2 – October 20 Spring Dates: April 23 – May 11 Special Note: This is a standardized test for all children in kindergarten. Helpful tip: Provide your child with plenty of rest and proper nutrition.

Kindergarten Specials
Music Students attend music class twice a week and perform a concert during winter Gym Students attend gym class twice a week. Please be sure your child wears proper gym shoes.

Students attend art class once a week. Please be sure to send an art smock at the beginning of the year. This can be an old t-shirt previously used by an adult. Library Children will have an opportunity to check books out daily for family reading enjoyment
