Who is the Holy Spirit? Some say He is a Force.
Some don’t even believe He exists.

Who is the Holy Spirit? I. He is Fully God.
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. John 14:16-17

But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. John 14:26

Who is the Holy Spirit? He is Fully God
-He is of the “same kind” as the Lord Jesus. (John 14:16). -He does things that only God can do. (John 16:8) -He is included with the Father and the Son in trinitarian passages.

as recorded in the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit communicated His will to believers. Acts 8:29 – Phillip Acts 10:19, 11:12 – Peter Acts 16:6 – Paul The Holy Spirit speaks.

Who is the Holy Spirit? Apart from the Holy Spirit there is no way to know spiritual truth: 1 Cor. 1:21 “since the world through its wisdom did not come to know God...” 2 Tim. 3:7 (fallen mankind) is “always learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

He brings conviction of sin and unbelief John 16:8 He draws us to Christ. Rev. 22:17 He regenerates us. Eph. 2:5; Jn. 3:1-8 He baptizes us into the body of Christ 1 Cor. 12:13 He seals us in Christ. Eph. 1:13-14

5. He empowers us. Acts 1:8 To be empowered is to be filled by the Holy Spirit; to be controlled by the Holy Spirit

We are commanded in Scripture “do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” Eph. 5:18

I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Eph. 3:16-17
