First angle projection is like keeping a solid in front of a screen and seeing it from the other side of the screen. It is just projecting all the edges, points features etc.. over a plane that is behind the solid. answers.yahoo.com In first-angle projection, the projectors originate as if radiated from a viewer's eyeballs and shoot through the 3D object to project a 2D image onto the plane behind it.
