5.4 Appeals Procedures
Pertains to procedural issues related to the development of a proposed ANS, or the revision, reaffirmation, or withdrawal of an existing ANS.
INCITS will not hear technical appeals
General: The developer of a Fast-Track submission functions as the TC.

5. 6.2.6 Stabilized standards:
Submission of an ANS for consideration by ISO or JTC 1, the IOE must approve the submission
6.2.4, Defect Management:
Report of an alleged defect shall be submitted to the INCITS Secretariat in writing.
Responses to the submitter shall be in writing as well
Sections 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 apply to the defect management process.
6.2.6 Stabilized standards:
Reviewed on a 10 year cycle. Decision to continue as Stabilized Standard published in Standards Action
INCITS (EB, TC, TG,SG) shall consider all requests for change and information
7.11 JTC 1 Fast Track
Submissions of ANS as JTC 1 Fast Tracks must be approved by the INCITS EB

6. 6.4 INCITS and ANSI technical reports: Two types
Those developed, approved and published by INCITS as INCITS Technical Reports (TRs)
Those that are prepared and approved and published by INCITS and registered with ANSI as ANSI TRs.
Distribution of JTC 1, and ISO, WG documents
OK to post in ICMS but access must be limited to members of the WG according to Global Directory
US experts participating in international WGs no longer approved by the TAG
The INCITS Secretariat maintains the list of experts (not the TAG)
8.3 Voting tables
Added “Vote on USNB Contributions, Comments”, 14 day LB or meeting vote, 2/3 voting requirement.
