2. SPECIAL ASSEMBLY- Eid-Ul-Adha or the feast of the sacrifice was observed in J.V.M. Sholtu. The student presented a marvellous speech signifying the importance of celebration – the willingness to sacrifice before God, forgiving others, spreading peace and happiness all over the globe. TEACHER’S DAY- Teacher’s Day is celebrated to show our teachers how much we honour and respect them for their contribution in our society. J.V.M. Sholtu organized a picnic for its staff members and celebrated the day. All the teachers, took some time for themselves, enjoying and relaxing in the middle of a busy academic session.

3. VACCINATION DAY- Vaccinations are about protecting everyone – Children, adults and the community- against major diseases. At times, the government needs to step in to ensure the public’s health and safety- and this was on 6th of September when Himachal Pradesh government tried to vaccinate in their MR Campaign to eradicate the deadly virus. Teachers and Parents community supported the government programme and made it fruitful.

4. SPORTS DAY- Games and sports offer children a change from the monotony of routine time table. Participation in organized sports enhance their physical and social skills. Children from class Nursery to V participated actively in various sports activities on 16th September. It was fun watching the kids enjoying and vigorously playing the games. “ All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. But, we want J.V.M. Sholtu students to become bright active boys.

5. SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON DUSSEHRA AND MOHARRAM- The beauty of Dussehra was observed in the school on 29th September. A simple musical act was performed by the children well tuned to the rhythmic harmonium On the occasion of Muharram- one of the most holy month – a knowledgeable speech was imparted by the student about its significance The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people. Both Dussehra and Muharram imparts the universal message to humanity- “Victory of good over evil”.

6. OPEN HOUSE MEETING- Open House meeting was held in J. V. M
OPEN HOUSE MEETING- Open House meeting was held in J.V.M. on 9th September. Open House gives teachers a chance to gain parents support and co-operation. The Open House meeting in J.V.M. Sholtu, also helps the teachers and parents to involve and co-ordinate the development of children.
