Outline student drawings in hot glue for painting or add high contrast Values Out line music notes

Materials: Paper Puff paint Tempera or acrylic paint Paintbrush Sensory mix-ins for the paint: salt, flour, oats, birdseed, sand, etc. Blindfold The challenge for your child (and you!) is to create a painting without using your sense of sight. High Contrast Colors Color code textures Warm colors – softer textures Cool colors – grittier textures Salt, Flour, sand, oats, varieties of bird seed, etc Card Board Scrapers - Leave different patterns/edges Caution: Students with multiple disabilities (e.g. visual Impairment plus Autism Spectrum Disorder) may Become overstimulated.
