While conducting work for CMSE, you are expected to carry out your duties in a professional manner, including: Arriving on-site minutes prior to work commencing Dressing appropriately/ professionally Using CMSE branded clothing and documentation at all times Returning documentation / paperwork / equipment to the office in a timely manner Acting in a professional manner, complying with client requirements.

This section sets out the procedure for working as a contractor with the CMSE Consultancy department This procedure is part of our ISO9001 quality management system manual and must be complied with Following the procedure will ensure consistent and efficient interactions with our clients and with you as a contractor We look forward to a successful working relationship with you as a contractor.

Ways of Working 01 02 03 04 05 Section 1: Job Details Agreed
Before commencing any job an understanding of the fee/rate/time allocated must be agreed with the CMSE Manager or contact you are dealing with in relation to the work The CMSE Manager must be updated at least weekly by with progress on projects or jobs. Only CMSE personnel may discuss commercial arrangements with the client unless there is a clear agreement with the CMSE contact to do so There MUST be written evidence of Approval and/or Purchase Order number before starting work for any client If additional costs are to be incurred, outside of the original scope of work, approval must be received from the client and agreed with the CMSE contact in advance of work commencing. 01 02 03 04 05

Ways of Working 01 02 03 04 Section 2: Issue of CMSE Job Number
CMSE uses a task management software system called ProWorkFlow 02 A CMSE Job Number (0****) will be issued to you as an instruction to commence work 03 Please reference this number in all correspondence with CMSE including invoices 04 Each job should be broken down on the monthly invoice and referenced to the Job Number.

Ways of Working 01 02 03 04 05 Section 3. Completing Work
Electronic/ correspondence with the client must be made using a address Reports and presentations must be on CMSE Consultancy templates or formats unless agreed with your POC 02 03 Reports must watermarked with DRAFT before issue 04 Newly completed reports must be sent to your CMSE POC to arrange for quality check/peer review 05 Reports must be issued to clients via the office in Adobe Acrobat format.

Ways of Working 01 02 03 04 05 Section 4: Time Sheets/Invoices
Contractors that work on a placement type role for one client must use Monthly or Weekly Client Sign-off Time Sheets that will be provided to you All timesheets must be returned promptly and approved/signed by the appointed client representative invoices and timesheets to the agreed POC and copy The PO/CMSE PWF Number must be referenced for each line item of your invoice Otherwise invoice non-timesheet based work completed on a monthly basis. 02 03 04 05

Health & Safety Health and Safety
The health and safety of our staff, contractors, clients and other stakeholders is of paramount importance to us CMSE safety professionals need to show leadership and set an example in relation to H&S Please act at all times with your own health and safety and the health and safety of others in mind Do not breach any legal, client or CMSE requirements Do not put yourself at risk of injury or accident If you have any H&S related concerns about the task, location or activities witnessed please contact your POC or the office.
