Graduation requirements
There are 13 compulsory credits/courses: 3 English / English Communications 10, 11, 12 3 Math courses (2 math courses for 11’s) 2 Sciences One of Science 10, Chemistry 11, Biology 11 or Physics 11 and one other science course from a variety of choices 1 Canadian Studies ( MK’Q11, African Can.Studies11 or Canadian History 11) 1 Global Studies 12 ( Global History 12 or Global Geography 12) 1 Physically Active credit PAL 11, Phys Ed 11, Yoga 11, Phys. Ed. 12 1 Fine Arts credit (Art, Drama or Music) 1 other from either Math, Science or Technology (2 others for grade 11’s)) Plus 5 more electives to total 18 credits *5 grade 12 level credits & no more than 7 grade 10 level courses.

Step 3 Log on to Power School and input courses. Registration window closes on March 3.

Step 4 Complete Registration sheet and turn in to B Block teacher on or before March 2nd.

Step 5 Counsellors will be in a computer lab (A328) lunch hours Feb. 20 – March 1 If necessary, , or drop by guidance at lunch hour to ask questions If you need to make an appointment with your guidance counsellor, have your credit check completed and a tentative plan for your course selection with you.
