4 Early adopter program requirements:
1 – Chartered partners (both Institutional Head and Chartered Organization Representative) confirm their interest and agree to use the family pack model by signing the early adopter application 2 – The pack committee chair also confirms their interest and agrees to use the family pack model by signing the early adopter application 3 – The Cubmaster and Den Leader(s) for the pack and all-girl dens agree to the following early adopter program rules and indicates this by signing the early adopter application: a. The pack confirms that all leaders are (or will be) trained in their positions b. The pack confirms that they have (or will have) an adult registered and trained in the New Member Coordinator position c. Understand that all girls must join via an online application BAC Commissioner’s Cabinet

5 Early adopter program requirements, continued:
d. Following approval by council, register a minimum of four girls into a new all-girl den of an existing pack (dens are formed with Cub Scouts in the same grade or required ages for the ranks of Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and first-year Webelos) e. Agree that only girls in grades K - 4 will be recruited and/or registered f. Agree that the specified adult female supervision will be provided g. Use the current Cub Scouting program and resources h. Agrees to provide every opportunity for the girls to complete rank advancement by May 31, 2018 i. Uphold the membership policies of the BSA and follow the guidelines in the Unit Performance Guide j. Agrees to provide data, feedback, and statistics on activities and experiences to help improve the formal rollout; this information may also be used in marketing and earned media BAC Commissioner’s Cabinet

Timeline January 15, 2018 – Earliest date a pack can register girls via the early adopter program February 15, 2018 – Deadline for early adopter applications to be received by council March 15, 2018 – Deadline for the pack’s BeAScout Pin to be activated for the Family Scouting Early Adopter Program March 15, 2018 – Deadline for girls to start participating in the early adopter program May 31, 2018 – Deadline for early adopter participants to accomplish rank requirements BAC Commissioner’s Cabinet
