Acts 1:1-11, Acts 2:32-36, Colossians 3:1-3 He will come again to judge the living and the dead. (Matt ; Acts 10:42; I Thessalonians 4:13-5:11

7 GOD THE SON Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God, taking upon Himself the demands and necessity of the human nature and identifying Himself completely with humanity, yet without sin. By his death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of humanity from sin. He was raised from the dead with a glorified body, appeared to his disciples, ascended into heaven, and is exalted at the right hand of God with all power and authority. He is the one Mediator, fully human and fully divine, reconciling humanity to and with God. Prophet, Priest & King. (John Calvin) He will return in power and glory to judge the world. He now dwells in all believers as the living and present Lord.

8 GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT The Apostle’s Creed

Through illumination, he enables persons to understand the Scriptures. He exalts Christ. Convicts of sin, of righteousness, of judgment. He effects regeneration, salvation, sanctification and glorification. The Holy Spirit enlightens and empowers individual believers and the church in worship, ministry, service and mission.
