3. Packing for Holiday Some people find packing a night mare, personally I have been brought up with a lot of travelling around so find it something that I do mindlessly. I am always amazed at how certain friends turn up with huge suitcases where the content never reaches hits the ground running. These are my top tips for easy packing: 1)Find out what the climate is likely to be where you are heading off 2)Layering is great. Avoid the bulky jumper that takes up half a suitcase, go for a couple of things that can worn on top of each other to get the same effect. 3)If you have a chance to do a bit of wining and dining, separates are great as are teeny tiny little tea shirts with chiffon tops. You can pack hundreds of these in a small space. 4)It doesnt matter where you are going there are some things which must be put in the suit case: Underwear, a thin waterproof top, something to keep you really warm, your tooth brush and tooth paste, your wash bag, any medicine's you might require, a good sturdy pair of shoes for walking, a hair brush, and if you are inclined a pair of jeans. 5)Consider that you may not be able to iron everything so items that dont crease a lot are a definite must. 6)If you have accessories such as travel plugs, money bum bags, hair driers, etc these are obviously worth considering as well 7)Dont forget your passport, visas, foreign currencies if going abroad! 6. Everybody has a different idea of a perfect day out, but for many it is to get into the fresh air. If I was planning such a day, I would certainly be looking at the National Garden Scheme and the National Trust for a few ideas.
