Your organization can get student data for outreach
For example, your organization is for female minority students who are Biology majors. If you want a list of female students who have self-reported their ethnicity and identify as minority, you can get that.
Let’s say you only want students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; you can get a list to contact.
Let’s say you want only Junior and Senior Ag majors; you can get a list of those.
How do you do it?
Go to Bearcat Link
Go to the OSI page
Click on Forms
Click on Student Directory Info Request
Fill out ALL of the requested information
Be specific about the criteria you are looking for
You will be asked to upload a sample of the messages you are intending to send to the students
Data will be released to your Advisor. The Advisor may share the data with you, but the caveat is that you use the data once, and delete it. You may not give it to anyone else and you may not keep it.

2. OTHER MEMBERSHIP DRIVERS
Student Org Fairs
Each semester, during the first few weeks of school, the OSI holds Student Org Fairs. Messaging will go out regarding signing up for a table. Typically, all University Seminar students are required to go. Swag your table to display what the group is about. This is a great opportunity to get new people excited about your organization. Have people sign up, tell them when you meet and start building relationships.
Info Tables
Sign up for these like you would reserve a room on Astra (see Room Reservations). Be sure to have people man the table who are outgoing and want to talk to people.
