4. Once Hitler ran Germany he wanted to make Germany the biggest and most powerful country in the World
He would do this by taking over countries around Germany
Once he had conquered Europe, he planned to target countries in the rest of the world.

12. 3 Stages of ‘Blitzkrieg’
The Nazis were able to invade countries very quickly with the use of the ‘blitzkrieg’ (lightning war) method.
Stage 2
Army move in using tanks and armoured cars – could break through lines quickly.
Stage 1
German air force attack airfields and communication targets – power lines, bridges, railways etc.
Stage 3
Infantry soldiers sent in to “mop up.”
