3. Website Testing When testing a website we need to check the following:
website matches the design
pages on the website are consistent *
* fonts and colours, page layout, balance of text and other media, navigation features

4. Website Testing When testing a website we need to check the following:
links and navigation work correctly
media (text, graphics, video and audio) display/play correctly

5. Website Evaluation
A completed website needs to be evaluated to see if it is fit for purpose.
This means does it meet the
Functional requirements?
End-user requirements?
Need to check the results of your testing too.

6. Website Evaluation
E.g. The functional requirements included a navigation bar. My original design said the bar would run down the side of the page. I was only able to make one work across the top of the page. So my website meets the functional requirements (it has a navigation bar) but is not correct in terms of the position of the bar.

9. Copyright, Designs and Patents Act (1988)
Makes it illegal to engage in software piracy as follows:
make unauthorised copies of software which is copyright protected
send software over a network and copy it without permission of the license holder
run unauthorised copies of software on a computer or network

Protects the owner’s rights over web content such as text, graphics, video and audio.
