SCM Modules Standard Functionalities (Wave 1 Modules)  All the purchase requisitions, purchase orders, Receipts and purchase agreements for commonly used goods will be handled and raised from Oracle purchasing and payment will happen in Oracle payables.  Oracle Inventory will be the single source of inventory truth.  The management of inventory on a day to day basis including its location, valuation, stock checking, stock movements (issues, returns, transfers, adjustments and disposals) will be handled in Oracle inventory.  Oracle workflows will be configured as per approval hierarchy requirements of WOC and will be used for approval of various purchasing documents & contracts.  All accounting pertaining to inventory is triggered in the Oracle Inventory module and posted to Oracle General Ledger.  Oracle iProcurement will be a user self-service application for requesting.

5. SCM Modules Standard Functionalities (Wave 2 Modules) Sourcing will be used for tendering and award. Procurement Contract will be a core repository for all contract documents. It’ll act like a library. iSupplier will be the sole application from where the Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) and Advance Shipment Billing Notice (ASBN) will be created. It will also be used by supplier to respond to RFQs and participate in 2-stage tendering.
