Introduction

2. The grace of the gospel tends to give rise to the question, “What do you do, now that you don’t have to do anything?” It’s not about what God wants FROM you, but what He wants FOR you as you connect, serve, proclaim and give.

4. 1 Thessalonians 1:1-3

2 We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, 3 remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

5. “Whoever wants to be great, let him be a servant of all for the Son of Man came to serve, not be served”

Remember that God owns our time. We are stewards.

If you don’t serve, then you’re expecting someone else to bear the load that we’re all called to carry.

12. PERHAPS the biggest STEP OF FAITH is simply acknowledging that all of our time is from God and really belongs to Him
Imagine a community of people where the operative question is…
“What can I do to help?”

13. The third aspect of engaging in the work of faith, labor of love and perseverance of hope is “PROCLAIM”
